Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We have kept it as short and clear as we can.

1. Who we are

This website, nursinghomefareham.co.uk, is run by Heathfield Care Homes Limited, which operates Tudor Lodge Nursing Home, Canford Manor Nursing Home and Anglesey Lodge. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

  • Post: Data Protection, Heathfield Care Homes Limited, 229 Newgate Lane, Fareham, Hampshire, PO14 1AU

This policy covers our website only. If you or a family member becomes a resident, we will give you separate information about how we look after care records.

2. What we collect and why

When you send us an enquiry

When you use the enquiry form on our website, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the home you are interested in and your message. We use this to reply to you, answer your questions and arrange visits.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before a possible care agreement.

Please keep medical details out of the form. We would much rather talk about care needs with you directly. If your message does include health information about you or someone else, we only use it to respond to your enquiry and to consider care needs, relying on the condition in data protection law for providing health and social care.

Cookies and similar technology

We use a small number of cookies that the website needs to work, such as the one that remembers your cookie choices. We only use the following if you agree to them in our cookie banner:

  • Statistics: Google Analytics, which tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they look at.
  • Marketing: Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which help us measure our adverts and show relevant adverts to people who have visited our site.

Our lawful basis for these is your consent. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage consent” button on the website. Full details, including how long each cookie lasts, are in our Cookie Policy.

Reviews and fonts

Some pages show our Google reviews using a service called Trustindex, and the website uses fonts provided by Google Fonts. To show these, your browser connects to Trustindex and Google servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in displaying the website properly.

3. Who we share it with

We only share personal information where we need to, with:

  • companies that host, maintain and support our website, including our marketing agency, Six Point Media
  • Microsoft, whose email service delivers enquiry form messages to our team
  • Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising, only if you have agreed to those cookies
  • Trustindex and Google, to display reviews and fonts
  • regulators, the police or other authorities, where the law requires it

We never sell your personal information.

4. Transfers outside the UK

Some of the services above, such as Google, Meta and Microsoft, may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by contracts approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: for up to 2 years after our last contact with you. If you or a family member becomes a resident, the information becomes part of our care records and is kept under our care records policy.
  • Cookies: for the periods listed in our Cookie Policy.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to limit how we use your information, or object to us using it
  • ask us to send your information to another organisation
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

Some of these rights only apply in certain situations. To use any of them, contact us using the details in section 1. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.

7. Keeping your information safe

Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, access to enquiries is limited to the staff who need them, and we only work with providers who protect personal information properly.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
